Another person I would have never crossed paths with had I never gone to Oregon is someone who has tirelessly worked to make sure that the Patriotic Prisoners and their families had everything they needed and more during the past 3 years. Not only has she worked night and day to do this, she has put her heart into it and taken many hits along the way, but she has never stopped. She has suffered personal losses, and never stopped. She has had her own struggles and never stopped. She is one of the strongest people I have ever met and I have so much respect for her.
Cynthia Primm has dedicated most of her life and her home to making sure everyone that was involved and incarcerated because the Oregon and Bunkerville Protetests/Stands were taken care of and she did it out of the kindness of her heart.
Through working with her to get messages out and to bounce ideas off of her, I formed a friendship with this dynamic woman and I am so glad that I did. She is someone that has made me a wiser and a better person in life.
She has been there for late night phone calls, from many including myself, emergency call outs for funds and many other occasions while taking care of her family and extended family, honestly I don’t know how she has done it.
When I found out that I had MS and that I found a way to treat it that was not conventional medicine, that the insurance would not cover. I asked Cynthia if she would help me with an auction. I felt odd asking for any help because I was not a prisoner, she helped me to feel better about it. This treatment is something that has shown to actually help reverse the damage that MS causes, some people have reported “remission” in all of their symptoms and others show zero signs of the disease at all. I was in a really bad place financially and there was no way I could even start the program and I didn’t want to put more poison into my body. Cynthia reassured me that I would be fine and that she would be there for me as a friend every step of the way…not for just the auction but in life. She again reassured me that no one would think ill of me for having the auction, as usual, Cynthia was right. It was a great auction and I received enough to get started on the program.
Now, I don’t know if all that are reading this know this woman or not but she is definitely someone that you do not want to argue with, especially if you are someone she cares about and she is trying to help you. Now if you are someone that she cares about and someone is attacking you or trying to hurt you…well can you say mama bear times ten thousand? That is my friend Cynthia. She is amazing.
Some people say she is too gruff at times, that may be so, but the title of this is Yellow Rose…not just because of where Cynthia lives but because just like a rose is beautiful and delicate, the outer petals protecting the softer more delicate ones deeper within, there are thorns all along the stem and the bush to protect the beauty and the delicate flower of the rose. This is how I see her, she is a beautiful rose who for those that are lucky enough to get past the thorns of protection will get to experience the full beauty of her friendship.
Thank you Cynthia for sharing your beauty with me and for being yet another reason why I can be grateful I went to Oregon during the cold of January 2016, it was worth the warmth of your friendship.
