Motives

We are motivated to go to work to make money for the things that we want.  We are motivated to go to the gym to be healthy or to fit into that outfit we wore 10 years ago. We are motivated to learn new things to better ourselves.  We are all so very different so we all have different things that motivate us one way or another.  What I have mentioned above are very general motivations, very applicable to life for most of us.

In these past few years I have learned and witnessed much about people and what makes them do things and in the same turn I have gotten more confused in a ways.  What I describe above is motivation.  A clear intent, when you go to work you, and those around you know you are motivated by earning money, and so on.  What I am going to address here are motives, they are the same thing but very different.  Let’s look at the definition of motives…

mo*tive

noun

A reason for doing something, especially one that is hidden or not obvious.

Some start out with the purest of intent but gradually change as something in them gets triggered, maybe a personal goal or something they have always wanted seems like it is in within reach, causing motives to change…then there are those that have shady and dark motives from the start.  This is where it gets all sorts of confusing.

I have watched people tear each other up, I have watched people come in only to walk right back out, others have been pushed out, I have seen others completely run as if life depended on it (and I am not talking about people that deserved to be)…all in the name of Liberty? Well, I guess there is that right to do that, but to what end?  I guess if you are trying to divide you did…yay you, there you have the pat on your back, now go away.

Then you have the ones that always seem to be there, everywhere, no matter what?  Some were like little magic puffs, and then they were there. Poof!  Big gatherings, the word getting out, major funds being raised, but the tension grew and grew and I saw what started as a great movement filled with love and unity, DESPITE our differences become one of distrust, attacks and dislikes. What motivated that, in each individual case?  Was it the person? Was it jealousy? Was it too many “cooks” in the kitchen? What was it?

Others have been there all along, some boots on the ground in some stands, others just have always been in the patriot world and their motives have been very clear, but slowly I have seen these people also change.  Is it that they want attention or money? Do they see a brass ring out of all this that I am missing?  If their motive has changed so drastically, the intent is different…what does that mean for their trust worthiness? I am not here to give answers, I want all of us to find our own, dig deep and find the solutions instead of the bandaids we have all been using.

We know that some had a clear motive of just good ole money.  The paid CHS (Confidential Human Source), but it is the ones that don’t have a clear motive that are scary.  The ones that you really are not sure what they want.

In spite of all that we know, all that has happened, all that we have seen, we still sit back and let it slide.  Why do we do this?  Are we so addicted to watching the “train wreck” that we can’t put a stop to what is happening before our very eyes?

What is our motive in putting up with this nonsense?  Yes, I said it, nonsense.  I am not talking about the division, I am not talking about the accusations…I am talking about the fact that we are still doing this convoluted dance.

Here is some MOTIVATION for you all.  I challenge each and every one of you to do what I have done.  Go to your mirror and ask yourself…and be honest; what is your motive?  Why do you do what you do everyday?

Me? I want to write things to challenge people, I am looking at ways to get better. I want to team up with other great patriots and collaborate.  I want to bring education to people about how our country should be. What has happened to our country.  Steps they can take for themselves and their families.  I want to give others a forum where they can share their wealth of knowledge.  Finally, yes eventually I would like to make a little bit of money so that I can take my message further, make a living out of what I learn helping others.  I know that is a long shot but that is a motive that I didn’t even see for quite sometime.

In order to see the motives of others we must first understand our own.  Remember motives are the reasons that are hidden or unseen.

So what is your motivation for hitting that power button and getting on the FB merry-go-round?

As I was thinking the other day, I feel like we are just floating in our own dirty swamp right now; stagnant.  We need to get moving or we are just going to be like leeches in the dark muddy waters sucking the blood out of any good we started and scaring off anyone that comes in wanting to fight for their liberties.

Question motives…ask.  Sure you may get a lie…but keep asking.  You know what frustrates a liar the most? Questions!

So please, you want to come to me with someone and their motives or with accusations?  What is yours for doing it?  You have a motive even if you don’t realize what it is. Is it out of genuine concern for the others involved or just to keep the pot stirring? Bring proof, undeniable, unshakable proof. Black and white.

If everyone is so tired of all the questions and the confusion; end it.  Pure and simple. Cut the cord that is keeping this alive, there are other sources, there are other avenues.  What is your motive for letting it go on?

I can’t believe that drama and self torture are enjoyable, I also can’t believe you like giving so much of your energy and time to it.

So gals, put on some lip gloss, guys comb your hair and get that mirror and start asking what you motives are, get them straight and things will be much clearer.  Then ask “are my motives aligned with God’s motives?”…if not…well hit those knees.  Then and only then can we stop being leeches sucking the energy out of each other, and begin shining light on the motives of the ones within.

So, what are my motives for writing this article?  I am writing because I know in my heart of hearts that we are better than all of this. I want to bring clarity out of the confusion; to shine the light of truth on those whose motives are less than pure and lastly; to lovingly yet firmly prick your conscience and cause you to take a long hard look at your own motives.

We have a job to do and it starts with the person staring back at you in the mirror.

The government was easy to see…this my friends will not be as easy.
